I seek eternity
Engraved me immortal
On the wind’s shoulders
With fame widespread
Beyond the horizon
Across the universe

Misunderstand me not
I quake to feed my pride
Defeat this arduous task
Incur God’s wrath
And stain our stained image

Be indignant and fight
To capture a new image
Redefine thought patterns
Inspire unsullied ideas
Of this and generations to come

I seek eternity
I dare to this question
Extraordinarily with accuracy
Gasp for breath in discouraging waters
Endure piercing eyes
Stretch me beyond me
So help me GOD

Stormy waves soaring high
High tides immeasurably strong
Against my tiny boat mismatch
Yet not enough to break me
Cuz in it I cruise with the maker of waves

Terrifying sounds echoing deep
Lonely night growing dark
Against my lantern mismatch
Yet not enough to break me
Cuz I lay with the extinguisher of fear

Artillery of war well aimed
Enemies strategically positioned
Against my sword mismatch
Yet not enough to break me
Cuz besides me is the commander of heaven’s arm
